KASTO Ltd is a leading global company in the production of high-quality and high-performance sawing machines and material storage solutions. As a world leader in our industry, we have a strong presence in the global market, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our busy service team as a Field Service Engineer. This is a mobile, field-based position that requires a flexible approach towards overtime and overnight stays when work dictates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of complex technical issues
  • Reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance of our sawing machines and material storage solutions
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Operator training and handover of equipment
  • Administration and reporting of service activities
Requirements
  • High level technical or professional qualifications (e.g. HNC / HND) or demonstrable competency such as an apprenticeship
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronics, PLC (Siemens S5/S7), mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Multi-skilled with an electrical bias preferred
  • IT literate and proficient in using technical software
  • Professionalism in dealing with customers and ability to work with the existing team of service engineers
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Benefits
  • Competitive basic salary starting at circa £30K (Based on 40 Hour working week)
  • Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
  • Performance-related pay structure
  • Daily travel expenses and company van (private use permitted but classed as a taxable benefit)

  • Private individual health care and pension scheme contributing 6% of your basic pay after 3 months in our employment
  • Holiday entitlement: 23 / 24 days (24 days when Christmas Eve falls on a weekday)
