We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Operations Manager to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing company based in Bolton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift activities and ensuring the smooth production of our products.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • **Promote a Safety Culture:** Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, and contribute to the improvement of environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • **Maximise Departmental Performance:** Maximise efficiency, waste reduction, labour utilisation, service quality, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and hygiene standards.
  • **Excellent Customer Service:** Achieve the production plan and ensure excellent customer service.
  • **Continuous Improvement:** Create and maintain a continuous improvement culture, seeking new and improved methods of working to increase efficiency in the overall production process.
  • **Product Quality:** Take full responsibility for the quality of product through management and compliance with quality systems QMS and QAS.
  • **GMP Standards:** Maintain and improve GMP standards, ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
  • **Employee Development:** Develop and implement employee development plans, including attendance improvement, performance improvement, discipline, grievances, and appeals.
  • **Employee Engagement:** Facilitate the development of an open culture of proactivity, pride, and accountability, ensuring alignment with current and future business plans and objectives.
