We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a primary special school in Barking. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for inspiring students with additional needs and developing their teaching skills.

About the School

The school is a highly respected primary special school that has been awarded 'Good' by Ofsted. It has a close community environment, an enriching approach to learning, and a high staff-to-student ratio. The school is also oversubscribed and has excellent transport links in Barking.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering 1:1 and group interventions to pupils with SEND, closely supporting children with their learning and personal development, and developing personalized support strategies to cater to each individual child.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has achieved a minimum 2:1 in Psychology from a Top 20 UK University, is passionate about teaching and supporting students with SEND, and is motivated, inspiring, and compassionate. The ideal candidate will also be attentive to the wellbeing of children with SEND.

This is a highly rewarding and fulfilling role that offers a great training program to get you started in your career and the opportunity to earn up to £470 per week on a PAYE basis. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
