About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with severe and complex learning needs, including autism, in a unique and specialist provision. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will provide direct support for the learning of individual children or groups of children to achieve defined progression targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support to children with SEND, promoting their learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting children with SEND.
Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with a strong commitment to inclusion and supporting children with SEND. You will have:

A minimum of an NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.Experience of working with children with SEND in a mainstream or special school provision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A willingness to learn and develop skills in supporting children with complex needs.What We Offer:
