Role Overview

The Food Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of product quality during daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company protocols by all team members, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Oversee that all product handling and manufacturing processes are conducted in a hygienic environment, in line with food safety legislation.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.
  • Assist in establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring progress, and taking responsibility for achieving set targets.
Qualifications

A good command of English and Mathematics is essential, as you will be required to follow processes and recipes accurately, ensuring the correct quantities are utilized in each batch.

While experience in a chilled food manufacturing setting is preferred, candidates from other fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) backgrounds will also be considered.

A basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene practices is necessary.
