Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Learning Disability service within NHS Scotland. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering a therapeutic model of care to individuals with learning disabilities and co-morbid mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities and co-morbid mental health issues.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a therapeutic model of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse RNLD/RMN/RGN qualification.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and co-morbid mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a dynamic team.
