Job Title: Senior Buyer

Exsel Group is a leading provider of independent defence technology solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and interpreting purchasing requirements, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and interpret purchasing requirements generated by Central Planning, Project Managers, and Senior Management
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Proactively manage the supplier base to achieve on-cost and on-time deliveries
  • Liaise with internal resources to support subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
