Project Group Manager

At Ansible Motion, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Group Manager to lead our project teams and drive the delivery of high-profile projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the project group, managing projects, and overseeing a portfolio of projects that include customer-facing driving simulator projects and internal R&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the project group and its teams, ensuring effective project delivery and team performance.
  • Manage high-profile projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, including customer-facing driving simulator projects and internal R&D initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement project management tools, methods, and processes to improve project delivery and team efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to take a strategic approach to project purchases, balancing cost savings with high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in project/program/portfolio management in a technical and/or engineering environment.
  • Recognized project management qualification and/or affiliation (e.g., APM, PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Critical Path, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience in managing and reporting financial elements of projects.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, and coaching individuals.
