About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Solicitor to join our team at Regional Recruitment Services. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of privately funded work, providing advice to individuals and families on a range of family law matters, including private law children matters, divorce, financial settlements, separation, domestic violence, pre and post nuptial agreements, and cohabitee disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded work
- Providing advice to individuals and families on family law matters
- Dealing with complex and time-sensitive matters
- Taking new instructions
- Legal research
- Advocacy
- Assisting the Director on occasions
- Dealing with new enquiries and converting to instruction
- Networking and business development
About You:
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have the following attributes, skills, and experience:
- Fully qualified senior solicitor (3-5+ PQE desirable)
- Confident in running your own caseload
- Commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice
- Excellent levels of communication, both written and verbal
- Good academic record; training with a leading national or regional firm is an advantage
- Strong IT skills
- Firm and functional knowledge within family law
- Experience managing your own caseload of privately funded work
- Demonstrate initiative and drive to produce a high standard of service to our clients
- Possess high levels of speed and accuracy
- Highly organized, methodical, and adaptable
- Commercially driven
- Proven ability to bring in work and confident in business development
