Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key part in managing the delivery of projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Direct and assess all aspects of the project delivery from order receipt to completion.
  2. Facilitate the collaboration of engineers, designers, and production teams to develop and produce the project.
  3. Understand technical information and quality documentation in response to customer requirements.
  4. Be familiar with programme plans, always looking ahead to coordinate engineering documentation as well as workshop activities in conjunction with the production manager.
  5. Manage all project phases and address concerns from all stakeholders.
  6. Provide leadership and set the tone for the execution of the project.
  7. Provide the client with transparency throughout the project and implement EWNs and CEs where necessary.
  8. Support clients to navigate their technical and commercial assurance requirements.
  9. Visit sites to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback.
  10. Work closely with the production and quality department to accurately plan the weekly/monthly workload to achieve project schedule.
  11. Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
  12. Have commercial awareness including knowledge of NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contracts, be able to prioritize workshop loading, manage labour, and be a proficient user of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Requirements

  1. Degree level qualification in Engineering or similar.
  2. A project management qualification, such as Prince 2, APM, or PMI.
  3. A formal engineering qualification minimum level HND / HNC.
  4. Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalent.
