Key Responsibilities:

  • To design, develop, and deliver capital and special revenue projects that enhance site capabilities and improve process efficiencies within our Operations Business Unit.
  • Manage multi-discipline engineering development and delivery of project activities across the distilling site, ensuring seamless integration with maintenance teams and pre-planned maintenance activities.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering expertise to address current plant issues, replacement requirements, capacity increases, productivity improvements, health and safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Implement initiatives that create an optimal and sustainable future plant/infrastructure setup, delivering value-added engineering practices.
  • Provide and manage detailed information to support post-project capital reviews, identifying opportunities to develop future project delivery performance.
  • Develop and coordinate engineering standards and execute day-to-day engineering in bottling/distilling facilities to ensure continuous operations and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and evaluate buildings and energy/utility infrastructure assets to ensure they are kept in good working order, maximizing efficiencies, minimizing wastage, and eliminating risk of outages/blockages.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar Senior Project Engineering role, running significant scale CAPEX projects in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
  • Degree-level qualified or with equivalent, lengthy project management experience.
  • Particular expertise in Process Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).
  • Experience in using project management methodologies.
  • Experience in using Continuous Improvement techniques and analysis.
