Community Psychiatric Nurse - Older Adults
Band: 6
Location:
Greater Manchester
Contract Duration:
6 Months, with potential for extension
Work Schedule:
Weekdays and weekends
Compensation:
£25 - £27 per hour, with enhanced rates for weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain current and valid registration with the NMC.
- Demonstrate proven experience in a CPN recovery role.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commit to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Possess experience working with older adults and in lone working situations.
- Handle duty calls and perform clinical duties as required (e.g., depot injections in the community).
- Engage with the multidisciplinary team, including Consultant Psychiatrists, GPs, and external agencies.
- Utilize the PARIS electronic system effectively.
- Coordinate with both external and internal departments.
