We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nursing Home Lead to join our team at Newlands House, a reputable healthcare facility for 37 people with physical disabilities. This is a fixed-term role for 6-9 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
As a Registered Nursing Home Lead, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. You will lead and manage a dedicated team of staff, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clear direction, management, and supervision to a skilled team of care professionals.
- Promote positive outcomes for disabled individuals through a flexible and proactive approach.
- Ensure the service operates within budgetary requirements and maintains financial stability.
- Oversee recruitment, training, development, and performance management of staff members.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations.
- Hold registration for the service and ensure adherence to national minimum care standards.
- A recognized nursing or social care qualification and relevant registration.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in managing care teams or supervisory roles within a care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Thorough understanding of financial data and budgeting principles.
