Our initiatives encompass prevention, early intervention, and safeguarding those at the highest risk of severe harm.

Role Overview

As the Community Safety Project Coordinator, you will lead a small team focused on achieving project objectives. Your collaboration will extend to internal teams such as Community Safety Analysts and external partners including law enforcement, local councils, and housing authorities, all part of a broader community safety initiative.

Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that our strategies are informed by data and that all established policies and procedures are effectively implemented. Additionally, you will have the chance to identify service gaps and enhance your expertise in service commissioning.

Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders is vital for our community safety response, and close cooperation with project staff will be essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to pass police vetting at the required level.

Required Experience

Candidates should have knowledge and experience in:

  • Addressing anti-social behaviour.
  • Relevant legislation, particularly the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
  • Understanding the impact of anti-social behaviour on victims and communities.
  • Best practices and initiatives in response to anti-social behaviour.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are necessary, with accommodations available for candidates with disabilities.
