Specialist Pharmacist Role in Gastroenterology

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our Gastroenterology team. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing expert pharmacy input and supporting the prescribing and monitoring of biologic medicines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Consultants, ACP Pharmacists, and Specialist Nursing staff to provide comprehensive care to patients with gastroenterological conditions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of biologic medicines and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Gastroenterology team and shape the role of the Lead Pharmacist for Gastroenterology.
  • Participate in research, teaching, and leadership training opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
