Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our water-based project in Aylesbury, covering HS2. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on water management and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the project plan, ensuring timely execution, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with project goals and smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to environmental impacts and water management, ensuring compliance with HS2 standards and regulations.
  • Manage the project budget and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure that all project activities comply with quality standards, design specifications, and environmental regulations, particularly concerning water management and sustainability.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that all members are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or water-related projects, preferably within the rail or civil engineering sectors.
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management (or a related field).
  • In-depth knowledge of UK construction regulations, environmental standards, and water management practices (particularly in the context of HS2 or similar infrastructure projects).
