An exceptional opportunity has emerged for dedicated and passionate professionals to become part of our endoscopy unit.
Endoscopy is an evolving field with promising advancements on the horizon. Our team is committed to delivering outstanding patient-centered care within both the acute hospital environment and a community-based facility.
The position entails working across the acute hospital site and a community medical center, with responsibilities that include participation in the upper GI bleed on-call rota during off-hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare the procedure room by setting up necessary equipment and gathering supplies for specific interventions, while ensuring minimal waste.
• Complete patient documentation accurately and promptly.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for student nurses, learners, junior nurses, and healthcare assistants, and engage in educational activities within your area of expertise.
• Assume various roles within the procedure room, including patient admission and consent, recovery, and discharge processes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Manage your time efficiently and delegate tasks appropriately among team members.
