Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Provide general classroom support, including one-to-one assistance and small group interventions as needed.
  • Lesson Preparation: Assist the teacher with lesson planning, resource gathering, and activity setup.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, promoting a secure and supportive environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Effectively manage student behaviour and address individual needs in accordance with EHCPs.
  • Curriculum Access: Support students in accessing the curriculum, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
About You
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in the UK, whether in early years, primary, or secondary education.
  • SEN Knowledge: A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people.
  • Personal Qualities: Resilient, adaptable, hardworking, and possess a good sense of humour.
  • Professional Growth: A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills further.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing plans at short notice.
