We are seeking a talented and dynamic professional to join our Community Protection Service in Durham County Council. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in delivering better regulatory services and making a real difference to the lives of our communities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation and improvement of local services, including Environmental Health, Licensing, and Trading Standards. You will work closely with our team to provide advice and guidance on regulatory and enforcement issues, and develop effective regulatory practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental health issues
  • Develop and implement effective regulatory practices
  • Work closely with the community to identify and address environmental health concerns
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve environmental health services
