Geo-Environmental Consultant Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team of experienced specialists. As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 investigations, and factual and interpretive report writing. You will also provide client liaison, borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, fieldwork, and some project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Phase 1 Desktop Studies and Phase 2 investigations
  2. Prepare factual and interpretive reports
  3. Provide client liaison and support
  4. Conduct borehole logging and groundwater and gas monitoring
  5. Participate in fieldwork and project management

Requirements:

  1. A degree in geology, engineering geology, civil engineering, geoscience, environmental science, or similar
  2. Experience as a geo-environmental, engineering geologist, or geotechnical engineer/consultant, working on site and in office
  3. A clean and valid UK Driving licence
  4. Ability to commute to Durham
