Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager at WEC Group Ltd, you will be responsible for promoting the services of our Division and other sub-divisions, where applicable. Your key objectives will include:

  • Quoting new customers and driving sales growth
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Producing weekly and monthly forecasting data and sales reports
  • Cold calling and lead generation to identify new business opportunities
  • Developing and delivering successful presentations to senior-level clients
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement regional strategy plans

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in business-to-business engineering sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets in excess of £750,000 per annum
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication technologies, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
