Position Overview: Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer specializing in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Industrialization? Do you thrive in dynamic settings and possess a background in the automotive sector or tier 1 manufacturing? If so, Owen Daniels Consultancy is representing a leading tier 1 automotive supplier looking for a Quality Engineer to enhance their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer RFQ documentation, specifications, and requirements to ensure comprehensive understanding and precise cost estimation.
  • Develop and manage PFMEA documentation while leading cross-functional teams.
  • Generate and revise Process Flow documents and Control Plans.
  • Advocate for customer-preferred methodologies such as Poka-Yoke and Measurement System Analysis.
  • Engage in cross-disciplinary teams during the development of new products or engineering modifications.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven expertise in quality management systems, measurement techniques, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Solid grasp of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies.
  • Prior experience in high-volume production environments, particularly in plastic injection molding, painting, and assembly operations.
