Spire Leicester, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an exceptional Clinical Services Director to join our team. As a key clinical leader, you will play a vital role in promoting a patient-focused, efficient, and quality service that drives the continued success of Spire Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Hospital Director as required, ensuring seamless leadership and continuity.
  • Promote a culture of excellence in clinical governance, quality, and patient safety.
  • Develop and implement the hospital's clinical strategy, aligning with corporate direction and objectives.
  • Lead the development of a working environment and culture that prioritises health, safety, and security.
  • Formulate strategies and policies for service improvement, balancing quality healthcare delivery with sound financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain clinical practice standards within our Governance and Regulatory framework.
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Director and consultants to achieve the Hospital's Annual Operating Plan, delivering the hospital's clinical strategy.
  • Act as Caldicott Guardian, ensuring confidentiality and data protection, safeguarding patient information within the hospital.
  • Assume the role of Director of Infection Prevention and Control for the hospital (DIPC).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare provider sector.
  • Competence across clinical, management, and leadership skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and further education.
  • Registration with an appropriate Health Professional Regulator (e.g. NMC/HCPC/GPC).
  • Demonstrated post-registration, continual professional development in management and clinically related subjects.
