About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Nurse at Roxburgh Dental Practice. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side support to dentists and hygienists during treatments, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with patient preparation, including taking medical histories and updating patient records.
  • Maintain a high level of infection control and adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the practice, including managing stock levels and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
