Job Title: Technical Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts (EA). As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing technical solutions to support the production of high-quality cinematic assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions to support the production of cinematic assets
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and processes
  • Identify and resolve technical issues that impact production
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a digital art content creation pipeline
  • Experience with game engines (Frostbite, Unreal, Unity, or similar)
  • Experience producing outstanding cinematic assets
  • Experience with game development frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with real-time workflows and technical hurdles/limitations associated

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with 3D DCC tools such as Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, 3dsMax, or Blender
  • Experience developing custom tools for digital content creation
  • Knowledge of high-level coding languages (Python, C#, mel scripting)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, or Shotgrid (Flow Production Tracking)
