About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting multiple projects within our organization, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide EHS support and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop associated controls to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead and coordinate project accident investigations, near misses, and close calls, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in EHS.
  • Experience working with ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS/HSG 65 standards.
  • Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
