Job Opportunity

A Sales Director is required to lead the sales team at Whiteoak Associates, a SME company specializing in performance enhancing coatings and heat shielding technology for automotive components. The successful candidate will have experience in selling technical services to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Automotive companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Internal Sales Engineers and an external account manager to drive sales and lead from the front.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to target UK-based and Pan-European clients.
  • Generate new sales opportunities and follow them through to successful conclusion.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to understand client needs and offer technical solutions.
  • Present at board level and have a strategic approach to sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of selling into Tier 2 and Tier 3 Automotive Companies.
  • Experience in managing a sales team.
  • Ability to deal with Engineering teams and sell technical solutions.
  • Experience in presenting at board level.
  • Strong team player with a strategic approach.
  • Engineering qualification (not essential).

Benefits

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of between £75,000-£90,000 (negotiable) plus car allowance, annual bonus, and benefits, combined with real long-term career progression opportunities.
