CCTV Security Officer

As a valued member of the ORDER OF MALTA WORLDWIDE RELIEF MAL team, the CCTV Security Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing site security procedures and maintaining the security of exterior positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Site access/egress control and management
  2. Assisting and booking in site visitors and personnel
  3. Vehicle searching and inspection
  4. Vehicle booking in/out and management
  5. Control of vehicular and pedestrian movement
  6. Fault reporting and incident management
  7. Directing drivers and visitors around site
  8. CCTV monitoring and surveillance
  9. Liaising with key personnel on site
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are essential
  2. A good understanding of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  3. Valid and in-date SIA license (Close Protection, Door Supervisor, Security Guarding)
  4. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  5. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to work up to 12 hours per shift
  2. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the site security procedures, assignment instructions, and risk assessments
  3. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in line with the designated shift requirement set out by CSS management
  4. Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
