We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services to patients across various specialties, including critical care, pediatrics, surgery, and medical specialties.
- Work closely with medical teams to optimize medication regimens and provide patient education on medications.
- Conduct audits and drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures related to medication management.
- Professional qualification in pharmacy, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Minimum 18 months of post-registration experience in a UK hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate self and others.
- Experience in providing services to a broad variety of patients, with evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services.
