Location: Imerys British Lithium Pilot Plant
Salary: Competitive
Hours of work: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a mechanical bias to join our team at the Imerys British Lithium Pilot Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Repairing or replacing plant equipment as required
- Undertaking trials and operating campaigns in the IBL Pilot Plant
- Liaising with engineers and project stakeholders
- Booking in MOTs and Service for company vehicles
- Ensuring load bearing and lifting equipment is booked in for servicing/ maintenance
- Observing Safe Systems of Work
- Creating and collecting data

Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent, in Engineering
- Sound understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Able to fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Good level of IT skills
- Legally able to drive in the UK

Imerys British Lithium is a joint venture between Imerys S.A. and Lithium Assets Ltd., developing a world-class micaceous lithium resource in Cornwall. We have developed unique, patented technology for the sustainable recovery of battery-grade lithium carbonate from micaceous granite, with the goal of building the world's first integrated lithium mine, beneficiation plant, and refinery producing 20,000tpa of lithium carbonate.
