About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Bright Purple. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our core technology, as well as spearheading the simulation, modelling, testing and automation side of things.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and effective.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Java development, including design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and familiarity with relevant tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Python or C/C++ is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
