Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join our client, a leading food manufacturer in Ossett. As a Senior Production Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Planners and coordinating the production workflow for multiple products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans for multiple products, ensuring maximum performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee the planning function and ensure that production schedules are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile variances and refine plans.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate with operations and customer teams to ensure seamless production and delivery.
  • Support the day-to-day planning function during holidays, sickness, and training.
  • Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to optimize the supply chain.
  • Facilitate and manage planning/customer meetings to achieve coherence within the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a production planning or supply chain role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of supply chain, demand planning, and customer collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of IT packages.
  • Ability to work with multiple SKUs and a hands-on approach to work.
