About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Casualty Claims Specialist to join our Support function at Reed, reporting to the Head of Casualty. This role is integral in providing effective support to Casualty Adjusters, enhancing efficiency and productivity in the management of Casualty claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist Casualty Adjusters with administration and accurate data capture, ensuring seamless claim processing.
  • File Management: Control the lifecycle of files to drive diary management and proactive handling of claims from initiation to conclusion, maintaining compliance with internal systems and processes.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with insured, insurers, brokers, and third parties to ensure optimum customer service and become a point of contact for interested parties, fostering strong relationships and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce technical reports for Adjusters in compliance with professional standards and service level agreements, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Time Reporting and Invoicing: Ensure time reporting and invoicing is compliant with internal systems and processes, maintaining accurate records and facilitating smooth financial transactions.
  • Management Information: Produce Management Information for clients and for internal use, including performance measurement and data integrity, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Operational Excellence: Uphold company standards relating to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Account Management: Provide account management support, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Communication: Handle incoming telephone calls and queries, responding promptly and professionally to ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
