The Exposure Management division at MS Amlin plays a pivotal role in assessing and reporting the risk levels undertaken by the organization. Team members leverage sophisticated modeling techniques and analytical skills, alongside their knowledge of both natural and non-natural hazards, exposure metrics, and financial terminology, to assist underwriters and various stakeholders in their decision-making processes. The outputs generated by this team are vital for pricing strategies, fulfilling capital obligations, and establishing risk appetites.

The Portfolio Analytics segment within Exposure Management is dedicated to overseeing both natural and non-natural catastrophe risks at the syndicate level, aiming to improve decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

This role focuses on advancing the Exposure Management framework concerning non-natural catastrophe risks by creating methodologies, analytics, and risk monitoring systems. You will collaborate closely with team members while remaining updated on industry developments to meet both internal and external reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the creation of innovative methodologies and systems for non-natural catastrophe exposure data
  • Assist in the accurate integration of non-natural catastrophe risks into the Internal Model
  • Keep abreast of emerging non-natural catastrophe risks
  • Engage with colleagues across exposure management, catastrophe modeling, and actuarial fields
