Our Finance Team

We are seeking skilled individuals to join our finance team, specifically in the roles of Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger. These positions will be based at our Head Office in Swinton.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for completing day-to-day transactions within the finance department, including:

  • Posting customer receipts and supplier invoices on our company database, SAP
  • Raising customer invoices and credit notes, as well as supplier payments
  • Debt chasing and bank reconciliations
  • Internal company reporting and creating new customer and supplier accounts
  • Reconciling SAP monthly with the e-commerce business
  • Performing paperwork audits and ensuring compliance with import documentation
  • Holiday cover for accounts payable and receivable

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting principles and experience with SAP or a similar accounting package. AAT level 2 is desirable, but not essential, as ongoing training is offered. Experience in a shipping, import/export environment and FMCG industry is also beneficial.
