Position Summary: As a Residential Electrical Technician, you will be an integral part of our Property Services team, delivering a high-quality electrical service to our residents. Your role will involve ensuring that all work sites, both internal and external, are properly safeguarded and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute various electrical tasks including rewiring, remedial work, smoke detector installations, testing, inspections, and routine maintenance repairs.
- Participate in the 'out of hours' service on a rotational basis to promptly address electrical concerns.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and care in all work environments to minimize risks to The Hyde Group employees, properties, and residents.
- Perform necessary repairs to ensure safety, security, and optimal working conditions across The Hyde Group properties, including vehicles and tools, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Possess City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installation.
- Hold a valid Electrical Inspection & Testing certification.
- Experience in Social Housing is preferred but not mandatory.
