We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Wind Tunnel Systems Engineer to join our team at Motorsport Network. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative systems for improving aerodynamic performance of our F1 racing cars.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining control systems, data infrastructure, and user experience. They will work closely with a multi-functional team of software, electrical, mechanical, and aerodynamic engineers to optimize code for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

We are looking for a talented individual with a solid grasp of fundamental engineering and computer science concepts, and a track record of solving complex problems. Experience with industrial control systems, C#, and relational databases is highly desirable. If you have a passion for Formula 1 and a keen interest in aerodynamics, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop novel systems for improving aerodynamic development of the car
  • Create new software for control, instrumentation, and methodology development for the wind tunnel and associated test rigs
  • Offer support for these systems and tools

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
  • Professional experience in software development using C#
  • Experience with industrial control systems and relational databases
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
