About the Role

We are seeking an experienced reinsurance professional to join our team at Gallagher Re, a leading reinsurance company. As a member of our APAC/Nordic treaty reinsurance team, you will play a key role in empowering our clients with cutting-edge analytics and insights, providing them with the confidence to make strategic decisions that transform industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute reinsurance transactions across classes, with a focus on property
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and reinsurers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of queries
  • Analyze data and statistics to inform marketing and broking strategies
  • Create and review slips to ensure clients have best-in-class coverage
  • Manage and resolve client and reinsurer queries, including regular in-person engagement
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including research and report preparation
  • Contribute to the growth of Gallagher Re through RFPs and tenders
Requirements
  • Strong technical reinsurance knowledge and experience
  • Aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
  • Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) preferred
  • Experience of handling treaty reinsurance business
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of the reinsurance marketplace
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
