Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute reinsurance transactions across classes, with a focus on property
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and reinsurers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of queries
- Analyze data and statistics to inform marketing and broking strategies
- Create and review slips to ensure clients have best-in-class coverage
- Manage and resolve client and reinsurer queries, including regular in-person engagement
- Support ad-hoc projects, including research and report preparation
- Contribute to the growth of Gallagher Re through RFPs and tenders
- Strong technical reinsurance knowledge and experience
- Aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
- Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) preferred
- Experience of handling treaty reinsurance business
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of the reinsurance marketplace
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
