AI Governance Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to join our team at Deliveroo. As a key member of our Data Management team, you will be responsible for owning AI governance, including running AI bias reviews, coordinating and writing AI policies and training materials, contributing to the design of our AI model registry, and day-to-day support to ensure compliance with laws and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement AI governance strategies to ensure compliance with laws and best practice
  2. Lead AI bias reviews and develop recommendations for improvement
  3. Collaborate with colleagues in legal and compliance to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
  4. Work with the VP Science to develop and implement AI governance policies and procedures
  5. Design and implement metadata requirements for AI systems and ensure data is captured and analyzed
  6. Monitor and adapt governance to recent AI regulatory trends and policies
  7. Develop and deliver AI governance training programs

Requirements

  1. Hands-on experience building AI models in a company like Deliveroo
  2. Strong understanding of AI risks and mitigation strategies
  3. Excellent document writing and communication skills
  4. Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  6. Familiarity with AI regulatory trends and policies
