Duration: 6-8 Weeks

This leading provider of fire protection services is seeking a team of Fire Door Inspectors to carry out surveys and inspections on fire doors to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections and surveys on fire doors to identify any defects or non-compliance issues
  • Produce detailed reports and offer expert advice and recommendations to clients
  • Have a strong understanding of fire door regulations, including the requirements for timber fire doors, door surrounds, and other related furniture
  • Be able to identify and verify the correct frame specification for each door's rating
  • Ensure that the choice of frame, lining, casing, and intumescent smoke seals are compatible and meet industry standards
  • Have a good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience in fire door installation, supervision, or surveying
  • Recognized fire door related qualification
  • DBS clearance
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use tablet/PDA devices
