Key Responsibilities:
Executing all scheduled maintenance activities
Installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and industrial machinery in accordance with current electrical standards, manufacturer guidelines, and technical schematics
Conducting routine maintenance and scheduled inspections, documenting, and signing off on relevant paperwork
Responding promptly to equipment failures
Reporting issues and challenges to senior management with appropriate timelines for resolution
Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures

Job Requirements:
Valid Electrician certification or completion of an accredited vocational training program in electrical or industrial electrical fields
Knowledge of electronic principles as applied to electrical circuits, wiring, and equipment utilized in power generation
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and other computer-based technologies
Understanding of tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical industry
Awareness of current legislation and 18th edition wiring standards
Capability to install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based systems

Qualifications & Certifications:
Completion of a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship
Experience as an electrician in an industrial maintenance setting
Experience in the marine sector is a plus. This position is a fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role.

Rate - Competitive hourly rate with overtime paid after standard hours

Standard Hours - Monday to Thursday
