Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing all maintenance tasks as scheduled
  • Installing and repairing systems, apparatus, electrical, and industrial machinery per current electrical regulations, manufacturers guidelines, and technical drawings
  • Performing routine maintenance and scheduled checks, logging, and signing relevant documentation
  • Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
  • Communicating issues and problems to senior management with relevant timescales for resolution
  • Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
  • Approved Electrician certification or Completion of a recognised vocational education program in electrical or industrial electrical or industrial training
  • Understanding of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring, and electrical equipment used in power generation
  • Proficiency with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) units and other computer-based equipment
  • Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
  • Understanding of current legislation and 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot PLC based equipment
Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Experience as an electrician in industrial maintenance
  • Marine experience is advantageous

This role is a FTC until December 2025 with a strong possibility of going perm thereafter.

Rate /h plus OT paid after 37 hours at x1.4
