Client Relations Specialist

At AMETEK Inc, a leader in the manufacturing of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, we are seeking a dedicated Client Relations Specialist. This position is integral to our operations and will report directly to the Commercial Manager.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The primary function of this role is to provide exceptional support to a diverse range of clients by serving as a liaison between the clients and various Business Units at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively represent and promote the organization positively at all levels.
  • Engage in training and personal development initiatives as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while supporting organizational initiatives.
  • Perform any additional reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations relevant to the position.

Essential Duties:

  • Deliver customer support to a global clientele and their representatives.
  • Manage all facets of customer order processing, including contract review, work pack creation, and administrative tasks.
  • Generate customer quotations aimed at maximizing profit margins while utilizing available stock to fulfill client needs.
  • Coordinate order scheduling and progression, and produce technical evaluations.
  • Facilitate repair orders with vendors, negotiate pricing, and monitor service performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for technical inquiries between workshops and clients, prioritizing workloads and requests.
  • Respond to inquiries from the sales team and customers.
  • Conduct customer visits as necessary.
  • Compile and present analytical data regarding account performance, monitoring margins and earnings.
  • Provide weekly updates on customer status and maintain customer portals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar client support or service role.
  • Proven track record of customer interaction and account development through various communication channels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSE in Maths and English Language (grade C / level 4) or equivalent.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
