This organization specializes in Planning, Regeneration, and Environmental Consultancy, boasting a robust acoustic department that is vital to its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will possess extensive experience in a comparable position, demonstrating a solid foundation in various aspects of acoustics, noise, and vibration, particularly focusing on environmental acoustics. Responsibilities include:
- Securing and developing new business opportunities.
- Providing technical guidance and project leadership.
- Ensuring timely delivery of project outputs.
- Demonstrating effective project and personnel management skills.
Project Management:
Experience as a Project Manager is essential, encompassing budgeting, proposal submissions, scheduling, and report generation. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing project management for diverse projects.
- Negotiating with clients and contractors to foster existing and new business relationships.
- Leading project teams to ensure deliverables meet established timelines.
- Taking charge of project delivery and managing support teams, including recruitment and performance evaluations.
Client Portfolio:
The successful candidate will engage with a diverse range of public and private sector projects both in the UK and internationally. Projects will encompass all facets of acoustic consultancy, including:
- Statutory nuisance assessments.
- Mineral extraction and waste management.
- Landfill and open cast mining.
- Wind farm assessments.
- Energy from waste facilities.
- Residential and commercial developments.
- Transportation projects including road, rail, and air.
- Construction, manufacturing, retail, and recycling assessments.
- Architectural and sound insulation testing.
