We are excited to present an opportunity for a skilled Field Engineer to play a vital role in significant development initiatives associated with a large-scale Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) in Loughborough.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise setting out tasks, ensuring accuracy in levelling and traversing.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to oversee daily site activities, including surveying and progress documentation.
  • Review plans, drawings, and setting out coordinates to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Employ advanced surveying techniques and equipment, including global navigation satellite systems and data collectors.
  • Efficiently process field data using post-processing software such as AutoCAD.
  • Take responsibility for guiding junior team members as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in setting out, showcasing expertise in levelling and traversing.
  • Proficient in modern surveying techniques and equipment, with hands-on experience in global navigation satellite systems and data collectors.
  • Experience in the wastewater/water sector, with a solid understanding of industry specifics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively supervise junior team members.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license.
  • Relevant equipment provided (TS16, GPS, etc. or equivalent).
