Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled electro-mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team as we expand to meet increasing customer needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, installation, commissioning, and training of equipment provided to clients across the UK and Ireland.
  • You will operate independently, primarily within the Midlands, while also supporting the team in larger projects or during team members' absences.
  • Regular travel will be necessary during the workweek, with a company vehicle available for both business and personal use, along with covered accommodation and meal expenses.
  • Initial training will be provided, allowing you to shadow experienced team members, with the duration tailored to your existing knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical bias with a technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Multi-skilled background in maintenance, servicing, and installation of primary and secondary machinery, with the ability to engage at board level
  • Possession of IEE 17th or 18th Edition certification
  • Experience in injection molding or plastics is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently
  • Flexibility for travel throughout the UK is essential
