We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in NHS Scotland. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting cancer clinical research and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as an information resource for potential or participating trial patients, providing nursing support and planning the care pathway for participants.
- Collect required data and ensure adherence to the trial protocol.
- Raise awareness of clinical research and trials amongst secondary breast cancer patients and their families by delivering online and in-person presentations.
- Interrogate relevant trials databases to ensure access to the most up-to-date information for available trials.
- At least 5 years post-registration experience.
- Experience of cancer nursing and/or clinical research nursing is preferred, but full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Understanding of the research process, including ICH/GCP guidelines.
- Excellent IT skills.
