About the Role

We are seeking a skilled First Aid Trainer to join our team at the British Red Cross. As a First Aid Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life-saving skills to individuals across the London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality first aid training and specialist courses, focusing on teaching life-saving skills and supporting individuals in developing confidence to provide emergency care.
  • Travel to training venues across the London area, utilizing your excellent communication skills to engage with diverse groups.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Contribute to the development of new training materials and resources, leveraging your expertise to enhance our training offerings.
Requirements
  • Hold a Training or Teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
  • Have experience in preparing and delivering training courses, with a proven ability to present to mixed-ability groups.
  • Be comfortable working independently and traveling to various training venues.
  • Be IT literate and proficient in using digital tools to support training delivery.
