About the Role

We are seeking a Site Manager to join our Construction Team in Colchester. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion. You will work under the Construction Manager to ensure the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Supervisors, delivery teams, and sub-contractors on site
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Ensure all work meets required water industry regulations and standards
  • Accountable for SHEQ performance of Projects
  • Communicate and record all Corporate, SHEQ, and Business Unit briefings
  • Ensure all site-based personnel hold relevant qualifications and training
  • Monitor SHEA, legislative, and programme performance of sub-contractors

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in the water industry
  • Certificate in Site Safety Management or equivalent
  • CSCS card
  • Experience in Civil, M&E/construction industry
  • Effective management of sub-contractors
  • Basic Management training, skills, and experience
  • Comprehensive IT abilities, including MS Suite
  • Good Project and programme management skills
