LCV / Van Technician Job Opportunity

Ford & Slater Limited, a leading DAF Truck dealer group with 16 locations across the UK, is seeking a skilled LCV / Van Technician to join their team at their Leicester depot.

As an LCV / Van Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of LCVs and Vans, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with manufacturer procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining LCVs and Vans
  • Carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Fault diagnostics and repairs
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and responsibly
  • Participating in breakdowns and road testing vehicles
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic in the LCV, Van, HGV, or Commercial Vehicle sector
  • Technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair faults
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Full UK driving licence
